This polypropylene adapter joins 3/4" PEX tubing to 1/2" male iron pipe thread (MIP) connections in potable water plumbing. The molded plastic body resists corrosion and chemical attack and provides a reliable transition between flexible PEX runs and threaded metal fittings.

Installation: Slide a PEX crimp ring or cinch clamp over the tubing, push the barbed end of the adapter fully into the PEX, then crimp or cinch behind the last barb. Use thread sealant tape on the MIP threads when connecting to female fittings.
