Rutland 1200 deg F Hi-Temp Flat Black Brush-On Paint renews the finish on natural cast iron, grills, ovens and cookers wherever a high-temperature flat black coating is needed. It is formulated to resist peeling and blistering at temperatures up to 1200 deg F and keeps rust at bay, and it needs no primer.

Tip: Brush on a cold surface with the fire completely out, and do not thin the paint. One coat is all that is recommended. Heat curing is not required, but for best results let the paint air-dry for 24 hours and then heat cure to 500 deg F. Ventilate the first firing after painting.
