DOOR JAMB REPAIR / REINFORCEMENT KIT

This jamb repair & reinforcement kit is constructed of steel components and comes in a white, paintable powder-coated finish.

It features six easy-2-install section plates and two door edge guards, and it comes complete with fasteners and step-by-step installation instructions.

This ultimate door jamb repair & reinforcement kit provides up to 12 gauge thickness, at a total height of 59-1/2 in. when fully installed. It is designed to replace the smaller, vulnerable latch & deadbolt strikes commonly installed with entry door hardware.

The door edge guards in this kit fit on 1-3/4 in. thick doors, and the latch plate comes with optional knock-out plugs to accommodate 2 different knob-to-lock hole center spacing's. For doors with a large enough gap between the jamb and the edge of the door, these plates can be easily mounted on the surface of the door jamb, while others may require the plates to be mortised into the jamb for a better fit.

The hardware included with this kit is non-handed, allowing it to be used on left or right-handed, single and paired, hinged door systems.
