Airless spray tips are a key component to the successful
operation of an airless spray system. They define the spray pattern,
control the flow, atomize the coating and ultimately tell the pump how
hard it must work. A proper understanding of airless tips is critical to
the success of any airless application.
Airless
spray gun tips are interchangeable tips for airless spray guns that
break up paint into an even, fine mist when it leaves the gun. They can
be used to spray different materials.
Use
smaller opening sizes when painting with lighter or thinner liquids,
such as stains and lacquers, and larger opening sizes for heavier and
thicker liquids, such as latex paint. Airless spray tips allow a worker
to select how much fluid will leave the gun when they spray paint, as
well as how wide the fan of the spray will be. Airless spray gun twist
tips can be twisted to widen or narrow a gun's tip orifice size.
