The
top coat is one part of the Timberflex 3 coat system that consists of
two color coats, and one clear coat. If a stronger color is desired you
can use 3 color coats. It is premium oil based, film forming exterior
wood finish. Timberflex remains flexible and has UV light resistant,
even in extreme conditions. This product is excellent for log homes and
many other vertical exterior wood surfaces.
It
has a coverage rate on rough wood with one coat of 125-150 sq. ft. per
gallon, two coats of 200-300 sq. ft. per gallon and three coats of
400-600 sq. ft. per gallon. And on smooth wood the coverage for one coat
is 200-300 sq. ft. per gallon, two coats 300-400 sq. ft. per gallon,
and a third coat of 400-600 sq. ft. per gallon.
Maintenance coats should be applied every two to three years or as needed to maintain original appearance.
